This was a fantastic 80’s flick about Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers (C.H.U.D). When I first crossed paths with this flick on Netflix, I kept brushing it off as a lame movie. Yesterday, however, while waiting for the new episode of Breaking Bad to come out, I decided to check this movie out.
The movie starts off ominous enough with Mr. McAllister (actor from Home Alone) photographing some random lady in the street. It then slowly progresses into the main topic and how the people living in the sewers start turning into cannibals.
I don’t want to get too into detail in case some of you out there haven’t seen this 29 year old movie. You will see one of John Goodman’s first on big screen performances.
If you happen to be bored on a Sunday afternoon, you might be surprised by this Hollywood gem.
